Valentine's Day

Our first Valentine's Day as an engaged couple, let's see how was it different? Can't say it really was to be honest :b Since it was a Saturday this year I sent Kaitlyn roses at work instead of waiting for Saturday. All women love flowers, most love to get them where other girls see what they got :) I picked her up so she could bring them home and she greeted me with scratch lottery tickets since it was Friday the 13th, is there a better name than Jason for a day like that?! I think not.



Saturday, on actual Valentine's Day I was woken up by our loud neighbors to find breakfast made, banana pancakes (she said she was thinking of the song by Jack Johnson), from scratch! They were yummy, Kaitlyn had gotten up really early and gone shopping and done it all just for me! The rest of the day was pretty relaxing and not much happened. A walk with the dog in the dog park, he loves that place and we are so glad we can take him over there with no issues of aggression. Plus, it poops him out afterwards!



For dinner that night we had reservations for Sette Bello, an Italian restaurant we have been to a few times. We had a scrumptious dinner and enjoyed each others company. We looked around to see if anyone looked like they were going to pop the question, we both wanted to see it happen but alas no one did while we were there.



All in all for someone like me who doesn't really like Valentine's Day, it was wonderful :)
